  • Open toe shoe designed to increase muscle strength in the small muscles of the foot, giving support to the instep and the impact area of the forefoot and build up endurance, during practice
  • Pre-arched instep hugging the foot for greater support
  • Pre-arched shape removes excess leather when foot is pointed for a smoother neater fit.
  • By design, this specialist shoe is longer than a non-arched shoe and dancers find that they may need a whole size LESS than James Senior Strathspey, Fochabers or Highland Fling, to ensure that the balance of the shoe is maintained at the arch and there is a perfect fit at the heel
  • Thicker leather adds resistance, working muscles hard during pointing to increase foot strength
  • Black upper, eyelets and laces
  • Narrow flexible pearl chrome suede sole
  • In-built Poron shock absorber at forefoot only
  • Sole unit and insole are shorter than standard
  • Side ankle eyelets to ensure a close fit
